PRODUCT DATA 
BESTFLEX flexible duct is manufactured by laminating aluminium foil
and either a tough polyester film or another ply of foil over a spring steel wire helix.
BESTFLEX is also available factory insulated with fibreglass and covered with an
outer jacket of aluminium foil and polyester laminate.
BESTFLEX can also be manufactured with perforations in the duct in which
configuration it is ideal for reducing air noise in low pressure and domestic air
conditioning systems. This grade, know as BESTFLEX Acoustic, is wrapped with
insulation and jacket as above and the external appearance is the same as
insulated BESTFLEX.
BESTFLEX provides an effective and maintenance free service life under normal
operating conditions when properly installed. It is easy to transport and handle and
simple to use and install.
Attention is drawn to the requirement that flexible duct must always be fully
extended and bends made with adequate radius to prevent corrugation of the
interior with consequent excessive resistance to airflow.

 13 AP Layer s of aluminium foil and polyester.

M1

 Layers of metallised and clear polyester with flame retardant adhesive.
   Acoustic perforations are available for all grades.
STANDARD LENGTHS 6 or 10 meteres (insulated in 6m lengths only).

INSULATION Factory insulated with fibreglass blanket 25mm , 24Kg/CBM
TEMPERATURE RANGE 0 - 100 degree C
PRESSURE 2KPa maximum positive working pressure. 
FIRE RATING 13AP grade is certified to BS 476 Parts 5,6,7 and complies with the requirements of authorities in Hong Kong,
Malaysia and Singapore.
M1 grades are certified to AS 1530 Part 2 with Flammability Indices less than 6.
PUNCTURE TEST  Complies with UL ( USA) part 14.
